We are proud that our comfortable environment represents one of the most advanced dental facilities in the Albuquerque area.

Patients with Dental Insurance:

We are pleased that you have a dental co-payment insurance policy. We will do everything we can to help you maximize your benefits on a yearly basis. We ask you to keep several important facts in mind.

You have a maximum coverage per year of $500, $750 or $1000.00. When dental co-payment plans began in 1970 they allowed the same amount of maximum payment per year as allowed today. In other words, allowing for a 6% per year inflation, your $1000 benefit per year is equal to $290.00 in today's dollars. Had the various dental insurance companies increased their benefit on a year by year basis reflecting increases for inflation, this year your benefit would be $3207.14 per year!

We ask that you understand that we neither work for the insurance companies, nor do we wish to. We work 100% for you. We want to help you maximize your benefits, however we do not want to be controlled by insurance companies nor the benefit packages they offer. Normally, in our office, you can count on your insurance company paying 25-30% of the total fee for services provided in a high quality private practice such as ours.

As a courtesy to our patients, we file dental insurance claims for you.

Lastly, we believe that a cooperative effort between you and our office will result in a dental service that we are proud to render and you are pleased to receive. We want to meet your needs in a way that adds significant value to your life and to ours as well.

Financial Assistance:

New Patients... Cash, check, or credit card are required at all first visits. If there is a concern, please call our Financial Coordinator at 505-797-1000.

We accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

A Wells Fargo bank 12 month interest free payment plan is available upon approval of credit.

A Wells Fargo bank interest free line of credit or extended payment plans with interest is available with approval of credit.

For larger cases, financial arrangements can be made with our financial coordinator.

Treatments under $300...

For fees under $600.00, payment by cash, check, or credit card is required at time of service. We can help with insurance for your reimbursement. Please see insurance.

Treatments over $300...

For fees in excess of $600.00, payment arrangements may be made in advance through our bookkeeping department. In treatments involving the dental laboratory, we require half payment since we are on a cash basis with our laboratory. The following options are available on the balance:

Accounts outstanding more than 90 days from treatment date will bear interest at 1.5% per month or 18% per annum.

Any accounts that we carry a balance on may be subject to a credit bureau report.
